Remy Cointreau’s Global Travel Retail recently celebrated the global debut of the Cognac Academie. Tasked with creating a concept that could help create a new wave of cognac consumers, Lightfoot Asia came up with the Cognac Academie – a unique installation designed to provide an immersive and interactive environment for educating consumers on Cognac. Cognac Academie sessions are led by highly trained brand ambassadors, providing small groups with a tutorial and tastings, all within a premium self-contained space.
Launched in partnership with DFS exclusively at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), the Cognac Academie combines classroom and retail space, in a striking, premium installation occupying a prime High Profile Promotion (HPP) location within DFS’ main Liquor & Tobacco store. Lightfoot’s concept also integrated the showcase of the Louis XIII Rare Cask 47.6., Over the three months the Academie was situated in Hong Kong, sales of Remy Martin more than doubled.
